The project was subject to a design competition, that was awarded to Loucas Architects. The precinct is located within walking distance of the main district of Rockdale. The project included a large public domain to revitalize the suburb and provide opportunities for the community to gather and make use of the retail facilities. The design improved the existing street network, by enhancing the connectivity through each site. The sites are cohesive in the architectural detailing and finishes with reoccurring elements.
